Animated objects… dynamic or halted in mid-motion? A work about attitude, absence, missing elements…
Far removed from any aesthetic or ergonomic considerations, this collection expresses the object as a conduit for posture and symbolism.
The hidden dimension, unstated… the essence permeating the object. There is an inside, an outside….
The missing elements reveal their existence by the imperceptible traces they leave behind like a story from the past…a witness to their fleeting presence.
Simple, human objects... functional, and therefore, one day... obsolete.
