Floating Concept housing

Faced with the urgent problem of climate change that affects land and sea, we hope to develop a project that is pragmatic, realistic, and adapted to the near future. Furthermore, our approach aims to respond to both the problems of plastic waste and rising sea levels.
Our concept, made up of 80% recycled materials and in part energy autonomous, offers qualitative and affordable housing along the coast and on certain lakes, for an entire population that is today the victim of climate change. This concept uses ancestral teachings of flotation and the architectural morphology of huts. Additionally, the concept explores and betters the existing technology by using new recycled materials. We are, therefore, using the land and sea know-how in an effort to create optimal housing.
The target: the entire population. The deadline: a near future.
Our project is symbolically inspired by the organization of African huts and villages that optimize territories and create shared living spaces.
Similarly to the algae, this concept allows for a development by clusters, which is an attempt at merging the project with the geography of the site, all the while facilitating expandability following today's needs.
