Concept:
Our goal was to create more than an interior design, a layered high potential concept which could be changed depending on the several contexts of the Eurostars hotel resorts. The room could then be adapted into several atmospheres depending on the city location and concept design of the hotel.
Experience:
The concept aims to conceive a warm and welcoming interior design offering an intimate and qualitative stay.
The high level of equipment and quality of the materials and fabrics are the base for a unique client experience, while the contemporary spaces and the design add functionality, comfort, and a welcoming feeling to this room.
Space and volume:
The general scenography widens the space voluntarily, working on a perception of space and volume by arranging the furniture in such a way as to create a new skyline.
The search for sensuality and dialogue between these two shapes is like a case of "opposites attract," where each part is complementary to the other and each material has a specific function in the creation of a harmonious room.
This approach is completed with the research to simplify and minimize the usual technical aspect, no screws or fixed parts appear; the guest readability and the comprehension of the placeis therefore enhanced.
Home but...thrilling:
The aim of the project was that the guest feels at home but at the same time discovers new feelings and new functions, as he/she is travelling. Therefore, we wanted to keep and develop a secure atmosphere by using warm materials such as wood, carpets, and fabrics, but also give him/her a taste of new thrills.
This concept aims to be understood by a wide range of guests which is why we wanted to express tradition and modernism, a mix showed by using wooden furniture with modern shapes and synthetic and concrete panels covering the walls.
Facts and manufacturing:
The layout of the room is studied to be easy to reverse or to use in a conversely symmetric manner.
The walls have liners which allows one to have sheath all around the room and a simple general network connecting all the disposals.
The furniture's simple shape means the budget could be used for qualitative materials rather than for tooling.
LEDs are used for lighting, which allows for mood control and saves energy.
