GreenYellow, a company developing new energies, was commissioned by the Casino Group to enhance the economics of the car parks at its various sites.
The idea of shade structures was selected, enabling parking areas to be covered for customer comfort at the same time as producing energy for optimisation and sale.
Our mission, performed in collaboration with a variety of technical teams, was to design a high performance sun shade adaptable to different geographical regions, car park layouts, physical constraints, variable solar angles, costs, etc.
In the first phase, 4,000m² was installed in 2010 on the Reunion Island.
