Our client wanted a house perched over the tree-filled coast in Costa Rica so that he could enjoy the view. We chose an innovative route and tried to add height without touching the land.
As a result, we created a system of superimposed sliding boxes, where each box is an integral part of the house and offers different beautiful angles of the panoramic view.
This effect is reinforced by the use of local materials which also participate to the thermal isolation as we added layers of those materials all the while having a base structure using both concrete and metal.
